My studio at Gene Studios will be open this Friday 6-9pm as part of ROVE. Come on out!

Check out the group exhibtion currently up at the Interurban Gallery. More More Better showcases work by 20 students in advanced Studio with Cathy Busby and Garry Neill Kennedy in the Dept of Art History, Visual Art + Theory at UBC.

My installation piece in the show - Hastings and Carrallhighlights a pronounced form in the gallery floor, drawing attention to the connection between the building and the commercial and social history of the area. It also speaks to the transitional nature of the built environment and to discourse around gentrification.

Below, studies for Hastings and Carrall.
